An alternative to mixing your own.  Ammoniated concentrate. 7/1 ratio.  1 pint mixed with distilled or de-ionized water yeilds 1 gallon of cleaning solution.  Specially formulated to provide quick quality clock cleaning at an economical price.  This solution is the perfect replacement for other high priced cleaning concentates.  After cleaning, use Colonial Pro-Clean rinsing solution to remove water and any remaining impurities.  Because this cleaning solution contains ammonia, it has the potential to effect the tarnish films applied to clock movements.  An excellent replacement for L & R clock cleaning concentrate, Astor clean, Hartzell and a variety of other brands.
